Insomnia and Narcolepsy are two different conditions, however an individual can suffer from both at the same time.

Both insomnia and narcolepsy can influence your lifestyle a great deal. You may feel lethargic and inactive. They can also cause stress and lack of focus.
Although there is no direct treatment for Narcolepsy and Insomnia, treating their symptoms can help reduce the conditions a great deal. Usually it is ideal to manage your routine and ask people around you to keep you awake, so you can sleep well during the night. If that doesn’t work, consult a doctor. You can take sleeping pills to sleep better but it is ideal to ask your doctor, whether or not, they are suitable for you. Reducing the consumption of caffeine can also help as it keeps your mind awake.
If you are suffering from narcolepsy and insomnia, it is important to make sure that you reduce every single symptom that might contribute to the problem. Sometimes, the issue can be temporary and might end on its own as you grow older.
